How can I build a Buyer’s List?

You can use your website to automatically create and maintain a “Buyers List”. The first step is to enable the Buyer Match feature on your website using the following steps:

Enable Buyer Match on Your Website

  1. Select "Property Listings" from the Real Estate menu
  2. Click on "Property Listing Options"
  3. Check the “Enable Instant Alert! Buyer Match Service” under Display Options (on the Listing Options tab)

This option will add a “Notify Me When New Listings are Posted” link at the bottom of your property listing pages. You may also want to create a link to the Buyer Match registration page from your website navigation. To do this, just follow these steps for creating a new link on your website menu.

  1. Click on "Website Designs and Links" on the Content & Design menu to display the Coaching page
  2. Click on "Edit My Website Design and Menu Links" to display the available editing options (if you have enhanced domain pointers, you will have a list of your domain names to choose from on this screen).
  3. Click on "Menu Links" to display the Menu Links page.
  4. Click "Add New Menu Link" to display the Add Menu Link page
  5. Type your Link Text in the Link Text field and create your new menu button (optional)
  6. Select your “Buyer Match Registration” from the "Select Other Page" drop down menu (under General Link Settings)
  7. Click the "Add Menu Item" button to create your new menu link

Sending Property Listings to Your Buyer Match List

After you have enabled Buyer Match on your website, you can easily send property listings to your Buyer List when adding or updating your property listings. Checking the “Send This New/Updated Listing to My Buyer Match List Now” option at the bottom of your property listing add/edit screen will automatically send the listing (including photos) to your Buyer Match list. Please note that the listing will be sent only to those buyers on your list who have specified that they wish to receive listings that meet the criteria of the new or updated listing.
