How do I password protect a website page?
You can password protect any of your website pages. You may want to do this if you are providing special pages for a membership or if you want to make sure you get your visitors email address or other information before providing the information on the password protected page. This is a great way to provide a "special report" to your visitors and allows you to capture the email address of your visitor. - Select "My Website Pages" from the Content & Design menu in your website intranet.
- Click on "View/Change Website Pages".
- Click on the Page Name for the website page you want to password protect.
- Select the "Custom Page Options" link to view the custom page options.
- Enter a password in the "Require Password" field. Optionally, you can allow your visitor to request a password and have the password automatically emailed to them if you choose.
- Click on "Update Page Options" to save your changes.
