How do I password protect a website page?

You can password protect any of your website pages. You may want to do this if you are providing special pages for a membership or if you want to make sure you get your visitors email address or other information before providing the information on the password protected page. This is a great way to provide a "special report" to your visitors and allows you to capture the email address of your visitor.
  1. Select "My Website Pages" from the Content & Design menu in your website intranet.
  2. Click on "View/Change Website Pages".
  3. Click on the Page Name for the website page you want to password protect.
  4. Select the "Custom Page Options" link to view the custom page options.
  5. Enter a password in the "Require Password" field. Optionally, you can allow your visitor to request a password and have the password automatically emailed to them if you choose.
  6. Click on "Update Page Options" to save your changes.
