Your Lifeline (Calendar, Task List, Contact Manager), Your Account Information

Today's tutorial topics cover some tools available to help you organize your business and personal life including a calendar, contact manager, and task list manager as well as managing your website account. Please make sure you are logged in to your website intranet and let's get started!

Your LifeLine
Your LifeLine tools were designed to help you organize your business by integrating the Calendar, Contact Manager, and Task List Manager which are are all a part of your website intranet.

Your Calendar
The calendar can be used to keep track of your personal and business appointments. You can publish calendar events to your public website for your website visitors to view and choose which calendar entries are viewable on your public calendar and which are displayed only on your personal calendar (available in your intranet).

To View Your Calendar
  1. Select "My Calendar" from the Lifeline Menu to display the Coaching page
  2. Click on "View My Calendar" to view the calendar (month view)
  3. Change your calendar view to Day, Week, Month, or Year by clicking on the calendar view tabs on the top of the calendar.

Add a Calendar Event
  1. Select "My Calendar" from the Lifeline Menu to display the Coaching page
  2. Click on "Add New Calendar Event" to jump directly to the "Add Calendar Event" page. If you are viewing your calendar, you can click on the "Add Event" icon to add an event for that day.
  3. Enter your event information on the "Add Event" page
  4. Click "Add Event" to add the new calendar event

To edit an existing calendar event, simply click on the Event Title from your intranet calendar and make any changes you want. Click "Update Event" to save your changes to your calendar.

Task List Manager
The task list manager allows you to create and prioritize a list of tasks.

To Add a Task
  1. Select "My Task List" from the Lifeline menu to display the Coaching page.
  2. Click on "Add New Task" to open the Add Task screen
  3. Enter your Task Name (required) and assign a Task Priority
  4. Select the Task Category (if you have previously entered a category) or Enter a New Category by typing the Category Name in the New Category field (it will automatically be added to the drop down list next time)
  5. Assign an optional due date for the task
  6. Enter the task description
  7. Click "Submit New Task" to add the task to the task list

Using the Task List Manager
Use the Task List filters to display the task list any number of ways. Click the "Display Tasks" drop down to display only Uncompleted tasks, Pending Tasks, Completed Tasks etc. Select a Category and/or Priority to display only the task matching the selected options. Using the filters, you can create a task list display showing only the Uncompleted Urgent Tasks for a specific project. The headings that are underlined are additional ways to sort your list - just click on the heading to sort the list.

Contact Manager
Use your Contact Manager (Address Book) to manage all of your business and personal contacts. Keep up with phone numbers, addresses, and special dates easily. Never lose a phone number again!

To Add a Contact
  1. Select "My Address Book" from the Lifeline menu to display the Coaching page.
  2. Click on "Add Contacts" to open the Add Contact screen
  3. Enter your contact's name and address on the first screen.
  4. Click "Add New Contact" to save your contact information and add the contact to the address book
  5. The next screens will give you the option to enter any additional information about your contacts

View Your Address Book and Contact Details
  1. Select "My Address Book" from the Lifeline menu to display the Coaching page.
  2. Click on "Address Book" to open the Address Book screen.
  3. Your contacts are displayed in alphabetical order by last name. To jump to a specific alphabet letter, just click on the letter on the top of the screen. (Don't worry if nothing happens yet - you won't see the screen move unless you have a lot of contacts)
  4. Click on the contact name folder to view the contact's details.

Your Website Account Information
Your Account information will show any activity and charges that have affected your account, commission that you've earned with our programs, and allow you to update your billing information. (We will be covering commission earning programs in a later tutorial). To view your Account Information, click on "My Account" on the LifeLine menu in your website intranet to display the Coaching page. To view your account history click on "Account History" on the Coaching page.
