Making Changes to Your Website (Review from Day 1)
When you are ready to make changes to your website, it is helpful to understand your website layout which provides several "editing areas" where you can control your website design and content. These areas are your website Header, Menu, Page, and Footer. You can edit each of these areas in your website intranet.

  1. Editing Your Website Header - Your Website Header is displayed at the top of every page of your website. To make changes to your website header, select "My Website Design & Links" in the "Content & Design" menu item, click on "Edit (domain name)", and then click on "Design Header".
  2. Editing Your Website Footer - Your Website Footer is displayed at the bottom of every page of your website. To make changes to your website footer, select "My Website Design & Links" in the "Content & Design" menu item, click on "Edit (domain name)", and then click on "Design Footer".
  3. Editing Your Website Menu - Your Website Menu contains your website navigation or menu links. You can make changes to your website menu by editing your Menu Settings and by editing your Menu Links. The Menu Settings option is used for making changes to the general design settings of your menu (graphics and icons for example). The Menu Links option is used for adding and editing the links on your website navigation (this is where you will add links to other pages and forms). To make changes to your Menu Settings or Links, select "My Website Design & Links" in the "Content & Design" menu item, Click on "Edit (domain name)", then click on either "Menu Setting" or "Menu Links".
  4. Editing Your Website Pages (Content Area) - Your Website Pages, or Content Area, is were the content pages of your website are displayed. To edit your website pages or create new pages, select "My Website Pages" in the "Content & Design" menu item, Click on "My Pages", then select the specific page you want to edit or create a new page. Remember that you'll need to use the Menu Links option to add your new pages to the website navigation.
