How do I edit my pages if I use a Mac?

The built-in website page editor requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or above running on a Windows platform to function correctly, however if you are using a Mac, there are some other options for editing your website pages.

You should be able to use the page editor on your Mac by running Internet Explorer with Virtual PC - which allows you to run PC software on your Mac. You'll still need to use Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.

If you are not able to run Virtual PC or you can't run IE 5.5... an alternative option for you is to create your HTML page content on your local computer using an external page editor that will work on your system. There are many free and low cost HTML page editors for the Mac. Here are a few links to look at that list several options. You can also search your favorite search engine for "mac html editor" to find more.

With these programs you should be able type and format your page content just like a word processor and then be able to copy the HTML code into your page content area in your intranet. When you are copying your page from the Mac editor, be sure you are viewing and copying the HTML code generated by the editor.

I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
